TICKHILL TIPPLE

Tickhill Tipple will be a charity pub walk taking place in the village of Tickhill, Doncaster on Saturday, 22nd June 2024.  The event will comprise a fancy dress treasure hunt.  We currently plan for the walk to comprise stops at Tickhill Cricket Club, the Scarbrough Arms, Lofthouse, the Royal Oak, the Carpenters Arms and the Travelers Rest.

The funds raised from the event will support social events for isolated people provided by Tickhill Community Connections.  Our Managing Director is on the organising committee for this amazing charity.  It was set-up during Covid to provide assistance to isolated elderly people with access to shopping, prescriptions, etc.  Latterly, the charity has hosted party events for the elderly with catering, live music and performances by local children.

We expect that the cost to register an individual will be circa £10 and the cost per company team of up to ten will be £100.  Event t-shirts are included in the registration fee.  There will be a fun treasure hunt on the route of the walk.

We will be setting up an Event Brite registration page in the coming months.  In the interim, we are asking companies, pubs or other organisations to pre-register their interest to enter a team.

It is not a requirement to drink alcohol in each stop.  Soft drinks or non-alcohol drinks will be provided, and participants are expected to be sensible and to know their own limits.
